Site Information: Amityville/Farmingdale

Nike Battery NY-24 was in operation from 1956 through 1974, making it one of the oldest Nike Batteries in the New York Defense Area. The launcher area is presently an Army Reserve center, while the control area is used by the New York Army National Guard.
