This bench is vaguely Shaker-inspired, and sits at the foot of my bed. There is also one at the table in the kitchen. The construction is very straightforward, and the design could be easily varied by staining the wood top a different color, painting the bottom half a different color (or staining it), or changing the cutout design on the legs.
